While there are rumors that EA Sports has cancelled the remainder of Mut 22 coins the updates to the franchise mode on Madden 22, the developer/publisher insists there are still two updates in the pipeline for the feature.

"We don't like to talk about rumors and speculation; however, we're determined to improve Franchise as a component of the ongoing Madden NFL 22 live service and beyond. It includes two planned Franchise update that we'll release in Madden NFL 22. We'll provide more details about the updates during the coming year."
A positive note is that three players have seen a boost in their ratings.
